Playing Catch Up

Long time, no post!
Here's what we have been up to in the last few weeks....

Chris and Max did a little show and share at preschool...Chris brought in a truck for Max and all his little classmates to explore. Then he gave Moosey a ride home after school. I am not sure what Max liked better...having Daddy at school with a truck or the door to door transport in a big rig?! Ha!

Our good friends came out from Cincy for a weekend of Hawkeye football ...They were just in time to witness the downward spiral of the 2010 Iowa football season :(
We still managed to have, absolutely, the best time despite it all!

We traveled home to Cincy for Thanksgiving. While we were there we got to celebrate our nephew's second birthday with a little glow golf, bowling and monkey cakes (of course!)

In mid-December Max and Sawyer performed their holiday program with their little friends from preschool. They both did a great job! These two make quite the Hummer duo!

And...

In the past few days our house has been filled with holiday activities. Max and Xavier both worked on little goodies to give their classmates at their holiday parties. Max made bath soaps filled with fun Christmas toys. Xavier went with candy canes for his buddies and diligently labeled each one with a gift tag. Even Chris got in on the action, and hand wrote over a 150 Christmas cards to various people in the trucking world. I got to serve hot chocolate to X's school while his principal read them, The Polar Express. Fun, I know! So of course, I wore my most appropriate elf outfit and tried not to feel like a dork. Ha!

Which brings us to this morning....the first day of winter break!

And what's for breakfast?

Christmas Sprinkle Pancakes, of course!
